Below are listed some general terms & conditions for general users of the JOELOCAL site.

These Terms & Conditions do not interfere nor supersede additional Terms & Conditions laid out specifically for Advertisers/Customers of JOELOCAL. Terms & Conditions listed herein are applicable to both the JOELOCAL Domain (www.joelocal.com.au) and all JOELOCAL Sub-Domains made available online.  

Use of this site

  • JOELOCAL Pty Ltd (ABN) is the owner and operator of this Site.
  • By using the JOELOCAL site, it is deemed you consent to the Terms and Conditions laid herein.
  • All Terms & Conditions put forward are subject to change at the sole discretion of JOELOCAL.
  • Content within JOELOCAL Site is made available for personal use only.  Any commercial purpose that has not been previously approved by JOELOCAL in writing is strictly prohibited.
  • Content refers to everything listed in on the JOELOCAL site.

User’s Obligation

Any unlawful usage of the JOELOCAL site by users is strictly prohibited; this includes breach of confidence, copyright infringement, and also infringement of any trademark, patent, trade secret or other such intellectual property or proprietary right;

    Users also must not;

    1. Submit material or links containing computer worms, viruses or other types of harmful code;

    3. Transmit any junk mail, spam or other such material to any and all trades listed on JOELOCAL
    4. Send automated queries to trades listed of JOELOCAL.
    5.  Use any robot/spider or any other such automated site search/retrieval application to access, retrieve or index any information contained within the JOELCOAL site.
    6.  Seek to reverse engineer any portion of the Site in any way whatsoever.
    7.  Remove or modify any materials printed or copied from the Site.

Privacy

JOELOCAL can on occasion collect, use and disclose of personal information if given freely by the user accordance with its Privacy Policy

Liability & Indemnity

  • JOELOCAL takes no responsibility for the accuracy of any Content on its site whatsoever.
  • All information made available by JOELOCAL to the General User should be individually assessed by the User for its accuracy and authenticity and relied upon only at the Users own risk.
  • Furthermore, all content presented within individual trade listings represent the views of that Advertiser/Customer only, and not the views of JOELOCAL.
  • All Content on the Site may be changed and/or removed at JOELOCAL’s sole discretion and without notice.
  • JOELOCAL will have no responsibility or liability in relation to any loss or damage that a User may incur, including damage to software or hardware, arising from use of or access to this Site.
  • All liability for any breach of a term or condition implied by law is limited at JOELOCAL’s complete discretion.
  • Users agree to indemnify JOELOCAL and each of their directors, employees and agents against any action, claim, loss or expense incurred from the usage of the Site.

Third Party Content & Links

  • This site may include third party content which is subject to that third party’s terms and conditions of use. As such, nothing on this Site should be construed as granting any license or right for you to use that Content.
  • This Site may include links to third party sites which are not related to JOELOCAL and in relation to which JOELOCAL has no control or interest. Contributing Reviews

  • By submitting a review to a JOELOCAL trade page, Users grant JOELOCAL a non-exclusive, royalty-free and perpetual licence to publish that Content in any way and at any time.
  • JOELOCAL reserves the right not to use User Reviews submitted.
  • By submitting a Review, Users warrant that content uploaded will not infringe on copyright in any way
  • Users indemnify JOELOCAL against any and all legal fees, damages and other expenses that may be incurred by JOELOCAL as a result of a breach of the above warranty.
  • Unless otherwise stated, Users also waive all moral rights in their review contribution
  • Users must also not submit the following;
  • Any material illegal in nature
  • Any material that may be deemed to Violate any intellectual property rights
  •  Use any offensive language, including defamatory, threatening, obscene, harassing, discriminatory or otherwise offensive language
  • Use any adult material
  • Be misleading or deceptive or likely to mislead or deceive.
  • Contain references to illegal drugs.
  • Contain information that features gambling services.

Definitions

Parties

"You" and "your" refer to you, a user of the Site. A "user" is someone who accesses, browses, crawls, scrapes, or in any way uses the Site. "We", "us", and "our" refer to JOELOCAL.

Content

"Content" means text, images, photos, audio, video, location data, and all other forms of data or communication. "Reviews" means Content that you submit or transmit to, through, or in connection with the Site under the banner of ratings, or reviews  messages, and information that you publicly display or displayed in your account profile.
"Content" means all Content published on JOELOCAL
"Third Party Content" means Content that originates from parties other than JOELCOAL

General

These Terms & Condition shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of New South Wales.
