JoeLocal is a directory of carefully selected local businesses. Unlike other directories however that tend to throw everyone together in one herd, joelocals are always singled out geographically.
Expect honest, friendly, experienced down to earth people. We tend to stay away from businesses linked to franchises, opting instead to support the little guy.

We do not guarantee any work performed by our representatives; however we feel our selection process of tradespeople should give you the best possible chance to receive A-1 service.
Absolutely not! Just as we don’t take any responsibility for works carried out, we don’t expect any commission either.
Of course, in fact we encourage customer participation - the more detailed the review the better!
Reviews are put through a low level filter by Joelocal staff to ensure the system is not abused.
Obviously we encourage customers to provide comments that are fair, balanced and truthful. However JoeLocal reserves the right to refuse to publish any comment we considers defamatory, obscene, mischievous or just plain unnecessary. By and large though all reviews are posted by our staff - even the negative ones! It’s the only way we can ensure the system maintains its integrity.
JoeLocal listings are obliged to answer all negative reviews directly. If not, then negative reviews will remain posted on their sites unchallenged – not a good look for the business in question or JoeLocal on a whole.

At JoeLocal we are committed to posting all review, both good and the not-so-good. In return though we do require people posting reviews leave their email address and phone number so our JoeLocal listed companies have every opportunity to respond to any reviews individually.
